Marco Felluga

Collio Ribolla Gialla Maralba

4 months of remaining the wine on the fine lees gives it persistence and depth on the sip, a typically difficult goal for a fresh Ribolla Gialla.

The story

Ilaria Felluga's is an emotional story, which tells of a love born "little by little", which blossomed - for the first time - in London, during a sumptuous dinner with her father Roberto, when the Chef comes out to compliment the wines tasted. From there, Ilaria Felluga understands that those wines are not just "good wines" but also have a soul; a soul that can be "read" by people. With a hint of pride, he returned to Italy and enrolled in the faculty of Viticulture and Oenology. Thus began a path of growth - constant - which will lead her to the management - from a very young age - of the company. Family owned: Russiz Superiore – Tenute Marco Felluga. Developed by his father, Roberto Felluga, starting from the 1980s - within the medieval village already acquired by his grandfather - it extends over approximately 50 hectares, with vines that are almost half a century old and managed under an integrated viticulture regime, with SQNPI and VIVA certifications.

The producer

Marco Felluga

“Da più di 150 anni coltiviamo la nostra passione più grande, quella per il vino. Il nostro amore affonda le proprie radici nel Collio, una terra antica e da sempre vocata alla viticoltura”

To date, production is around 130,000bt/year (Russiz Superiore) and 500,000bt/year (Marco Felluga), placing it at the top of the local wine scene. They are "living" wines, which tell of an indissoluble bond like that between father and daughter, of a young woman who knew how to get involved, with her eyes upwards, aware of not being alone.
