The producer
La Rajade is a winery based in Dolegna del Collio, the northernmost municipality in the DOC Collio area. More than 7 hectares of vineyards are worked, of which about six are owned, all located in the municipality of Dolegna del Collio. It is run by the young hands of Luca in the vineyard and Denis in the cellar, respectively supported by Federico and Andrea, agronomic and oenological consultants with plurinnal experience in the area. The ponca, terminca excursion typical of the area, altitude and winds make it possible to obtain about 35,000 bottles a year. Whites include Collio Bianco Vino da Uve Autoctone (a blend of Friulano, Malvasia and Ribolla Gialla), "Caprizi" (Collio Bianco Riserva), and varietals Sauvignon, Ribolla Gialla, Friulano and Pinot Grigio (the latter both vinified in white and coppery, with no added sulfites). Four reds: in addition to the indigenous Schioppettino, three Collio DOCs: Merlot Riserva, Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva, and Rosso.
