The story

They saw it grow before their eyes, that company of which they today represent the "beating heart". Alberto Faggiani and his wife Erika Barbieri, in fact, are part of the entrepreneurial plan of the engineer. Sergio Stevanato from the beginning, from the "first turn of the key" of what is today one of the most appreciated wineries in the Collio: Tenuta Stella. He on the agronomic side, she on the oenological side: they are complementary, at work and in life. Together, they manage approximately 15 hectares of land, which mainly host native vineyards, cultivated according to the organic method, with the certification required in 2016.

The producer

Tenuta Stella

“Negli ultimi anni, ci siamo dedicati alla valorizzazione delle varietà autoctone, che coltiviamo nel rispetto dell’ambiente; ambiente che per noi è casa, è famiglia”

Friulano, Malvasia, Ribolla Gialla but also Schiopettino, Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, Pignolo and Tazzelenghe: these are the native "hosted" varieties, from which sincere, straightforward wines are obtained, which in their aromas and taste faithfully reflect the characteristics of a unique terroir.
