The story
From father to son. Roberto and Alessandro Sindarcig are the present and future of the Tiare winery which "embraces" two important DOCs, Collio and Isonzo, extending over about ten hectares. Two territories so different, yet - as the crow flies - not too distant from each other, where the soil changes its nature: from the marls of the Collio, we gradually move on to the gravels of the Isonzo plain - soils whose characteristics also spill over into the glass.
The producer
Tiare
“Studiamo con costanza i nostri terreni, per capire come gestirli al meglio. Ne approfondiamo la composizione e le comunità microbiche, per valutarne gli effetti sulla qualità del vino. La nostra, è una viticoltura di studio e ricerca, mirata alla valorizzazione delle differenze pedologiche”
On the Collio, the whites "triumph": from Malvasia to Pinot Grigio, from Friulano to Ribolla Gialla, up to Sauvignon - which occupies around 45% of the total production and has also obtained important recognition at an international level. Wines that derive from "local" clones, selected from old vines; wines that summarize the essence of the territory, with an extraordinary aromatic verve.
