Martissima Collio Bianco
Blend of Friulano, Ribolla Gialla and Malvasia Istriana. The grapes are collected together in boxes and left overnight in the press for a light maceration. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in tonneau and steel. The wine ages on the fine lees for 8 months and then in the bottle for more than a year. The grapes come from an approximately 60-year-old vineyard surrounded by woods, on the hill of Mernico, the northernmost town in the Collio.

The story
After graduating in Viticulture and Oenology at the University of Udine, ten years of work - and more - in the family business and frequent harvests "across the border", which took her all the way to South America, in 2019 she started the #Martissima project, starting from just one hectare of vineyard, located in the municipality of Mernico. Slowly and with constant commitment, the hectares have become four, with the promise of continuing to grow. Land surrounded by woods, naturally suited to organic viticulture, with perfect slope and exposure, which limits the need for intervention; land managed according to organic and biodynamic principles, where biodiversity is seen as an asset to be protected.

“Biologico è saper ascoltare, sé stessi ed il territorio”
There are two labels produced, Collio Bianco and Collio Rosso. Grapes, obtained from native varieties, distributed over two crus: Vigneto di Mernico and Vigneto “Giardino del Monte”. Wines that arise from spontaneous fermentations, capable of describing the territory of origin, with sincerity. With intense and layered aromas, they are broad and full-bodied, as sure as the hand of those who produce them.
