Pinot Grigio
Another great classic of the region, harvested and followed by a brief cold maceration, then aged for 6 months in stainless steel tanks on its own lees, with frequent battonage. Notes of white melon and rosemary, with hints of jasmine and a subtle almond undertone; on the palate, it has a briny, salty character, with a return of herbal notes and hints of white fruit. The finish lingers with hints of toasted nuts.
The producer
Ronco Di Pini
Produciamo vini che vogliono essere espressione del territorio, senza sovrastrutture. Per noi il vino è prima di tutto condivisione, identità e piacere.
Ronco dei Pini wines are crafted with a specific aim in mind: to be an authentic expression of the terroir, characterised by balance, drinkability and a distinctive mineral character. Production focuses primarily on native grape varieties — Schioppettino di Prepotto, Friulano and Ribolla Gialla — alongside selected international varieties. Harvesting is strictly manual and the selection of the grapes takes place in two stages, in the vineyard and in the cellar. Work in the vineyard is carried out with respect for the balance of the soil, limiting interventions and preserving the natural vitality of the land. Vinification is tailored to bring out the essence of each wine, without any artificial additions, maintaining a direct and sincere connection with the land of origin.
