Crediamo che lo studio e la conoscenza del vigneto siano la base del nostro lavoro. Da qui nasce il nostro impegno per portare nel calice le diverse sfumature del nostro territorio.
The winery was founded in 1960, when Ferruccio Sgubin purchased his first plots of land in Mernico, in the Collio region. Starting out as a mixed farming enterprise, over time viticulture became the core of the business. Under Gianni’s leadership, the estate grew and focused on careful vineyard management, aimed at nurturing each vine with respect. Today, the winery boasts around twenty hectares of vineyards across Mernico, Dolegna and Lonzano, and has seen the arrival of the third generation, with Marco and Margherita bringing continuity and vision to the family project.
Production focuses on white wines, made from indigenous and international grape varieties that find their finest expression in the Collio region. From the classic range, which offers fresh, balanced and easy-drinking wines, to the “Petruss” and “Mirnik” crus, the aim remains to highlight the distinctive character and authentic expression of the terroir.
