Redmont
The winery's historic red reserve, 100% Merlot aged for about 24 months in French oak barriques and tonneaux. After bottling, the wine ages for another 18 months or so in bottle. Characterized by a ruby red color with some garnet reflections, the nose is ripe red fruit with vanilla and slightly spicy hints derived from the wood. The palate is soft with velvety and silky tannins, matching what is anticipated from the nose.
