Schioppettino

Schioppettino presents a ruby red color to the eye. On the nose we find intense aromas of ripe and jammy fruit, including cherry, black cherry, raspberry and blackberry, spicy hints of pepper. On the palate it is full-bodied, characterized by good flavor and freshness and well-integrated tannins. This Schioppettino is the true expression of a territory with great potential. Perfect with grilled meats, aged cheeses and game.

The producer

Toti Katia

In Prepotto, in the heart of the Colli Orientali, an essential and identifiable production takes shape that includes Ribolla Gialla Brut, Friulano, Sauvignon, Merlot and Schioppettino. Each label interprets the Albana terroir through minerality, tension and expressive finesse. The whites ferment and age in cement to preserve aromatic integrity and verticality; the reds rest on the skins for about twenty days and age in French oak, acquiring depth and elegant texture. The production is measured, quality-oriented and stylistically consistent: wines that tell of the border, ponca and light of these hills.
